もう昨年のことになってしまいましたが、2008年11月に走行会に行ってきました。
いつもの岡山国際です。
- Nov. 2008, I enjoyed racetrack practice event at Okayama Intl
Circuit. -
LAPSHOTを装着していきました。 本体はこの位置です。
- When the event , I equipped LAPSHOT ( lap time counter ) -
取付は、まずミラー取付ボルト位置（赤矢印）にノーマルより10mm長いボルトをミラー穴へ
締め込みます。
そうすると、カウルの内側にネジ部が10mm程突き出します。
そこへLAPSHOTのブラケットを締め付ける訳です。
- The Mirror fix bolt (shown with a red arrow) change 10mm longer.
Then appear the thread inner of cowling, LAPSHOT bracket attached
there. -
LAPSHOT本体には自作ブラケットを両面テープで貼り付けてます。
- LAPSHOT display and my handmade bracket. -
センサーは最終的にここに決めました。 ホイルベースのほぼ中間です。
- Magnetic censor is here. ( about center of wheelbase ) -
ブラケットはこちらも自作、アンダーカウル左ピースの下端にボルト止めです。

最初はセンサーをここに付けていました。
しかし走行すると4〜8秒周期でパルスを拾い、まともに計測できませんでした。
いろいろチェックしてみると、リアホイールの回転を拾っていることがわかりました。
そういう訳でセンサー位置はホイールから離すこととなりました。
- At first, I mounted the censor here. Nearly in front of rear
wheel.
But this was bad. Censor error happened because of wheel turning
noise. -
